Alida Dean‘s short stories have recently appeared in The Forge, Chicago Quarterly Review and SmokeLong Quarterly, among other venues, and she was a 2025 fellow in poetry at the Constance Saltonstall Foundation for the Arts. She earned her PhD in English and Creative Writing at The University of Cincinnati. Alida teaches creative writing at Binghamton University and lives in Ithaca, New York with her partner and daughter.
